Former Six Senses hotels to reopen under Marriott's Autograph Collection
The two properties will exist renamed as The Maxwell Reserve, Shorthand Collection, and The Duxton Reserve, Shorthand Collection.

Following Six Senses's exit from Singapore, the two colonial properties it used to manage will reopen under the Marriott International flag, the hotels' owner, The Garcha Group, revealed to CNA Luxury.
"The two colonial-era gems in the heart of Singapore'due south buzzing and dynamic Tanjong Pagar enclave have been rechristened The Maxwell Reserve Hotel, Shorthand Collection and The Duxton Reserve Hotel, Autograph Drove. Nosotros are very proud to denote that nosotros are now part of the Shorthand Collection, a curated collection of remarkable contained hotels across the world by Marriott International," said Harpreet Bedi, CEO of The Garcha Grouping.

Shorthand Drove is Marriott International'south collection of contained luxury hotels. Hotels in the collection focus on graphic symbol, design and architecture. "We will launch the new hotels nether the Autograph Collection in 2021," Bedi said.
There are currently no plans to renovate the two properties. "These honour-winning properties have been designed by world-renowned designers Anouska Hempel and Jacques Garcia under the design management of Satinder Garcha. The hotel'south look and feel, and most chiefly the vibe, spirit and energy volition remain unchanged."
Guests volition too be glad to know that F&B offerings Yellow Pot at the Duxton property and Cook & Tras Social Library at the Maxwell belongings will as well "remain essentially the same". A new flagship restaurant and bar, named SHIKAR, will be introduced to the Maxwell property.
"SHIKAR, which means to hunt in Hindi, is a take on archetype Indian deadening cooking of meats infused in aromatic Indian spices, with a twist of Western sensibility," shared Bedi.
While the hotel will open to guests in 2021, F&B offerings will open earlier, at the end of 2020, Bedi shared.
